Psychiatric Survivors of Ottawa
A vital resource in these challenging times.
Founded in 1991 by a handful of consumer/survivors of the mental health system, Psychiatric Survivors of Ottawa (PSO) is a community of peers using their lived experiences with the mental health system to support one another in moving towards their full potential.
PSO offers peer and family peer support, public education, volunteer opportunities, connecting to other community services and much more to people experiencing mental health challenges and their families. But most of all they promote hope, recovery and wellness and create a sense of community.
