The Bronson Centre – A 2050 Community Hub project, located at 211 Bronson Avenue, in Ottawa, ON, is focused on replacing old hot water heat distribution systems, retrofitting the roof and repairing the heritage stone envelope of the Bronson Centre’s connected buildings. Important upgrades will be made for fire safety and accessibility standards. This retrofit project will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the building’s carbon footprint, while increasing the safety and maintenance standards of the community space. The project will benefit up to 30,000 persons per month, contribute to Ottawa’s downtown revitalization and cultural communities across the region.
